Beyblade and Shinzo are two anime licenses that will be on ABC Family come this fall.
ABC Family released its new kids' programming schedule to the press on Monday, and if you like Spider-Man, Spider-Man and more Spider-Man, ABC Family is apparently the place to be. In an impressive display of mass-media bandwagoning, ABC Family will be running the 1980s SPIDER-MAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS, the 1995 SPIDER-MAN animated series that originally aired on FOX, and the short-lived SPIDER-MAN UNLIMITED SERIES from 1999 each and every Saturday, starting July 6, 2002.
ABC Family also announced several new series, including BEYBLADE and SHINZO, two Japanese anime series making their U.S. debut, and BEST OF POWER RANGERS, a look back at the massively popular live-action kids' martial-arts creature-fest. Also being added to the lineup are several comics-based animated series: X-MEN, INCREDIBLE HULK and Frank Miller and Geof Darrow's BIG GUY AND RUSTY THE BOY ROBOT. Here's a look at the new lineup:
