Sony Metreon will play host to a weekend of Escaflowne events sponsored in part by Bandai Entertainment.
In celebration of the July 23 DVD release of Escaflowne the Movie, Bandai Entertainment presents Escaflowne Weekend July 19-21 at Metreon's Action Theatre, fans can catch Escaflowne with Free Screenings of the series and movie, as well as a Cosplay contest and live entertainment.
Friday, July 19 Volumes 1-3, 4 to 9 pm Saturday, July 20 Volumes 1-3, 10 am to 3 pm Escaflowne the Movie, 4 to 6 pm Volumes 4 and 5, 6:30 to 9 pm
*Cosplay Contest and live music by DJ M.O.D from 3 to 7 pm. (three Cosplay contest winners will be chosen at 3:30 pm)
Sunday, July 21 Volumes 6-8, 12 to 4 pm Escaflowne the Movie, 5 to 7 pm
