A new wave of animation featuring China's top independent animators has finally arrived from Mainland China and Playhut Entertainment brings it to the U.S. for the first time in history.
"Chinamation" is sweeping the nation at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, October 31, 2003 thru November 2nd during The Las Vegas Comic-Con "Full Blown Extrosion." A new wave of animation featuring China's top independent animators has finally arrived from Mainland China and Playhut Entertainment brings it to the U.S. for the first time in history. Hidden from view for most of the 20th century, political and economic changes in the 80s and 90s have pulled back the veil, sparking a renaissance of Chinese animated entertainment. The Las Vegas Comic-Con's 3-day event will be the center stage for the debut of "Chinamation" featured in booth #804. Playhut Entertainment will host FREE screenings of DeCheng, Way of the Warriors, Little Monk, Mighty Bunch, and Bird Island daily in Lagoon A on the second floor. All visitors to the Playhut Entertainment booth will have a chance to win Limited Edition DVDs of the "Chinamation" screeners.
