Enter The Dragonfly will ship for both the PS2 and Gamecube fairly soon.
Universal Interactive, Inc., a Vivendi Universal Games studio, stated today that its next installment in the Spyro the Dragon videogame franchise, previously planned for the PlayStation 2, will also hit Nintendo’s GameCube platform.
Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly is the sequel to Universal’s PlayStation title, Spyro: Year of the Dragon. In the upcoming title, Spyro will be outfitted with new skills and vehicles as he attempts to foil Ripto’s plan to steal the Dragonflies of the Dragon Realms.
Both the PlayStation 2 and GameCube versions are due for release in this fall’s fourth quarter.
