...And waiting for all you North American visitors.
The U.S. Super Mario Sunshine website has gone live and is ready to wet your appetite for this summer's hotly anticipated platformer. While it simply features the basics of a promo game site, it's quite colorful and offers some fairly new screenshots and a cleaner Quicktime version of the E3 2002 trailer video. Being a non-Flash site, unlike all the other GameCube sites, it loads quickly as well -- very nifty.
Japan has been enjoying the 'Sunshine' for a couple days now, giving us a positive sign that Mario on GameCube is finally a reality. Just a month's time remains between us and a short chubby man running on rooftops. Super Mario Sunshine ships to U.S. retailers August 26, 2002.
