Eidos brings the Legacy of Kain series to Nintendo for the first time.
Eidos Interactive announced today Blood Omen 2, previously released on both Xbox and PlayStation 2, is scheduled for a U.S. GameCube release this fall. The mature-rated, story-driven combat game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics, and will be the first title in the Legacy of Kain series to see action on a Nintendo system. "Blood Omen 2 centers on the horrifying vampire Kain, who awakens after a 400-year slumber in a very weakened state. Nearly killed in the wars raged by his vampire armies, Kain must now work to overthrow the opposing Sarafan order to reclaim his rule."
It's expected to be a straight port, with no details on any changes mentioned.
