Graphics made completely with Maya softwre.
Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker is now shipping in Japan, giving Alias/Waverfront an opportunity to announce that the graphics in the GameCube title were built using its Maya software.
Zelda is the first Nintendo game to have its 3D graphics created entirely with Maya. The software's makers boasted that the software delivered “significant boosts” in productivity, with time savers such as the ability to run Maya in batch mode in order to automate certain repetitive tasks.
