Top rated Nickelodeon show gets its own game.
THQ Inc. and Nickelodeon today announced the release of The Fairly OddParents: Breakin' Da Rules for GameCube and Game Boy Advance. Based on Nickelodeon's chart-topping show, The Fairly OddParents: Breakin Da Rules is currently available at retail outlets throughout North America.
"We're happy to give kids and fans of the show the chance to play The Fairly OddParents on major consoles this year," stated Steve Youngwood, Senior Vice President, Nickelodeon Media Products Group. "THQ has done a great job capturing the creative genius of Timmy Turner and the wacky humor that makes The Fairly OddParents a successful franchise."
In The Fairly OddParents: Breakin' Da Rules, the ultimate Fairy God Parents' guidebook to granting wishes, "Da Rules," has disappeared, leaving Cosmo and Wanda without their magical powers. As Timmy, the player enters huge immersive levels inspired by episodes of the TV show. In these colorful worlds, Timmy must battle evil yugo-potaimians, warp back in time to outwit the ancient Egyptians and use his super cleft powers to recover all the pages from "Da Rules" book to restore his Fairy God Parents' spellbinding powers. The Fairly OddParents: Breakin' Da Rules was developed by Blitz Games Limited.
