The Japanese newspaper, Mainichi Daily News, is reporting that Nintendo is planning on launching a new console system by years end 2004. The console will not be a successor to the GameCube or the GameBoy Advance but a new product that will coexist with the successor to the GameCube and GameBoy Advance. Mainichi also reports that it will be able to communicate data wirelessly via radio.
The console was first announced during the Nintendo media event at E3 2003 though no specifics were detailed.
