THQ onboard the DS train

Announcement follows Sega, Namco, and Konami pledges.

THQ confirmed plans this week to develop for Nintendo's upcoming hybrid system, tentatively being called "DS", making them the first North American publisher to sign on, following announcments by Sega, Namco, and Konami.

Helixe, an internal studio of THQ will be concentrating their efforts on development for the DS and the Game Boy Advance. Helixe is rumored to be working on one large, unspecified DS project already.
