Following in the steps of others, another dev drops Nintendo's Cube.
Team 17, the developer responsible for the Worms series, announced on their home website that they will no longer develop games for the Gamecube platform. One of Team 17’s Directors posted the announcement on the official Team 17 forum, the announcement follows:
"There's no discrimination, just that there isn't too much retail backing, which is what makes publishers nervous, stops them making agreements to develop GC games etc. I'm certain that W3d is our last GC game since the publishers aren't interested in a cube version of the other game we have in development."
THQ also made a similar announcement earlier this year.
