Alienware at QuakeCon 2003

Alienware will be giving away PCs to QuakeCon attendees.
Alienware has partnered with id Software to broadcast live coverage of multiplayer tournaments being hosted at QuakeCon. Alienware award-winning systems will be featured in designated spectator areas throughout the event to provide attendees the opportunity to watch all of the action from almost anywhere.
“The id Software and Alienware cooperation at QuakeCon offers attendees a unique opportunity to experience the excitement and competition of the premier gaming event of the year,to our users” said Kevin Wasielewski, Vice President of Marketing for Alienwareâ Corporation. “Alienware high-performance systems are specifically designed to harness the ground-breaking capabilities of games such as those developed by id Software and present gamers with an experience they will never forget.
In honor of the occasion, Alienware will be giving away two systems signed by John Carmack, Technical Director of id Software, creators of the Quake and Doom series. The first system will be awarded to one grand prize winner among registrants that attend QuakeCon. The second system will be awarded via a separate contest on the Alienware website. An Alienware selected mouse, featuring Alienware, QuakeCon and id Software logos, has been designated the “official mouse of QuakeCon”. Alienware will give away the exclusively designed mouse from NVIDIA’s booth to four hundred attendees. On display at the booth will be Alienware’s new Area-51mTM mobile gaming system, featuring a revolutionary upgradeable graphics architecture and extreme mobile performance. Gamers will also be able to experience the latest game titles on Alienware custom-built high-performance desktop systems.
