Counter-Strike qualifier to be hosted by Ultimate Arena Inc.
Cyber X Gaming has selected Ultimate Arena Inc., the leading online action game tournament site, to run the ATI/AMD Cyber X Games 2004 Counter-Strike online qualifiers. Ultimate Arena's guaranteed cheat-free platform was a key factor in Cyber X Gaming's decision.
Ultimate Arena will utilize seven layers of anti-cheat technology including the United Admins' Cheating-Death software for the Counter-Strike online qualifiers. The company will also record all matches using HLTV. Any player may download a recording of the match. A team of online gaming experts will review any protested games.
"Cheating is one of the top concerns that online gaming tournaments face," Joe Hill, president, Cyber X Gaming, said. "We carefully evaluated several companies and it became apparent that Ultimate Arena is the clear leader in running online tournaments. The company's outstanding anti-cheat technology and the staff's deep understanding of gaming are unparalleled in the industry."
Ultimate Arena is dedicated to providing a fun and fair experience for all players. Ultimate Arena works closely with game developers and other technology providers to ensure fair play. In addition, Ultimate Arena has developed the Ultimate Feedback System - a reputation system based on user feedback that helps players determine whom they can trust in the community.
"We are looking forward to supporting Cyber X Gaming broaden the reach of the ATI/AMD Cyber X Games," said Dennis Fong, Chief Gaming Officer at Ultimate Arena. "They have brought a lot of excitement and some very large prize pools to the action game space."
