BYOC = Bring your own computer. Yes, we know.
Due to sponsor support, Cyber X Gaming is offering free entry to the Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) competition for all pre-registered competitors at the ATI/AMD Cyber X Games: Windows XP Championships.
Pre-registered BYOC players will participate in free events as well as pay-to-play tournaments that will include more than $100,000 in prizes.
Participants must register before Dec. 20, 2003. This program is limited to the first 1,500 players who provide the required registration information at http://www.cyberxgaming.com/registration.
Soon-to-be-announced relationships with three new major event sponsors and the extensive support provided by AMD, ATI, Microsoft Windows XP and Sennheiser made this possible.
"Cyber X Gaming has made every effort to make our events affordable to the gaming community," Joe Hill, president, Cyber X Gaming, said. "We have received fantastic support from a variety of organizations that have placed a high priority on lowering the costs for players."
The ATI/AMD Cyber X Games: Windows XP Championships will highlight the world's top gamers competing on the most advanced hardware for a chance to win more than $600,000 in cash and prizes over the course of several qualifying tournaments and the championships. The event is being held in conjunction with CES in Las Vegas, Thursday - Sunday, Jan. 8 - 11, 2004.
