Elkware Inc. and Fog Studios hook up
by Jolex Del Pilar

Friday, December 12, 2003

Fog to help Elkware aquire gaming licenses.

elkware, Inc., a developer and publisher of mobile games, has retained the services of FOG Studios, an interactive licensing agency, to pursue and acquire licensing opportunities for future games. The relationship will allow elkware, already a leader in the European marketplace, to enhance its global market position relative to other wireless publishers by developing relationships with top brands and creating cutting edge original games based on those properties.

"FOG Studios has an impeccable history in the interactive market, having been involved in bringing over 4100 products to market," said Dirk Nagel, CEO of elkware Inc. "We could not have asked for a better strategic partner to help us establish a global presence. In addition to FOG's extensive library of licenses it directly represents, the large network of relationships FOG has developed over their quarter century in this industry has already allowed us to enter substantive discussions with several top companies and properties we had targeted before approaching FOG. This will allow us to bring beloved franchises to life through mobile games that are faithful to the spirit of the license."

FOG Studios President Ed Dille added, "elkware is already known for the quality of their games, and many potential licensors weight these factors more heavily than even the economic components of a potential relationship. We are extremely pleased to be representing elkware and recommend them highly to intellectual property holders who closely guard brand integrity and image in their licensing and merchandising endeavors."
