Cyber X "Gamers of the Year" program

Winners of award will be honored at Cyber X Games.
The Cyber X Gaming "Gamers of the Year" awards program will recognize outstanding cyber athletes that have had a positive effect on the advancement of competitive gaming through their dedication to performance, sportsmanship and leadership.
Recipients of the awards will be honored at the AMD/ATI Cyber X Games: Windows XP Championships award ceremony in Las Vegas, Sunday, Jan. 11. The winner(s) of each category will be awarded $1,000 in prizes. The four categories for this year's awards are AMD/ATI Male Team of the Year, AMD/ATI Female Team of the Year, Microsoft/Sennheiser Male Player of the Year and Microsoft Female Player of the Year.
"The tournaments at the AMD/ATI Cyber X Games: Windows XP Championships already recognize which players and teams excel in competition," Joe Hill, president, Cyber X Gaming, said. "We also wanted to reward those individuals that through their examples of fair play and inspirational leadership are providing a positive image of the gaming community."
Nominations for the awards will begin on Friday, Dec. 19 and close Sunday, Dec. 28. Program rules and nomination forms are available on http://www.gotfrag.com/goty.
