DISCover console taps Zeitgeist

PR company will spearhead marketing effort for new console.
Digital Interactive Systems Corporation (DISC), creators of the next-generation DISCover Game Console, announced that Los Angeles-based Zeitgeist Communications will manage all aspects of North American public relations.
The DISCover Game Console will make its 2004 debut in a system from Apex Digital. Using its patented Drop and Play™ DISCover technology, the ApeXtreme Digital DISCover console will allow gamers to play thousands of unmodified PC games on a television or home entertainment system.
“Zeitgeist knows the game industry inside and out and is a perfect match for our needs,” said Avraham DorEl, President of DISC. “We’re looking forward to a creative and exciting year and Zeitgeist will deliver a communications campaign to match.”
