Contestant's creation to be immortalized within game.
Irrational Games, (creators of System Shock 2 and Tribes: Vengeance) today announced that the dedicated website for Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich.

The site is recruiting one new champion of justice via the “Calling All Heroes” contest. Now, fans of “Freedom Force” can be part of the highly-celebrated Irrational development team by creating their own comic book hero. The winning character will be immortalized in the much-anticipated title, “Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich,” and the creator’s name will also be included in the end credits.
“Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich takes the series into the golden age with a host of new characters,” said Ken Levine, General Manager and Creative Director of Irrational Games. “Now anyone can get in the Nazi-punching action by creating his or her very own character for the game.”
Scheduled to ship in March 2005, “Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich” is the sequel to 2002’s Freedom Force.
A comic book-inspired tactical role-playing game, “Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich” features a brand new league of heroes and villains, an overhauled combat system, and graphic enhancements.
Entries must include the following: the name of the hero, super power, a short 100 word description of the character, and a 250 words-or-less origin story. Contestant-created images (less than one MB) of the hero will be accepted, but not mandatory.
Grand Prize: One Winner The winning entry will be included in the upcoming “Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich” game, and the winner will get his or her name in the end credits. The winner will also receive: a free copy of “Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich” and a personalized “Freedom Force” sketch from the character designer.
