Electronic Arts has shipped Madden NFL 2005 to retail outlets in North America and the game will be available to purchase by at least Tuesday, August 10.
Released for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance, the title adds a more robust Franchise mode this year, which contains a Storyline Central aspect that will feature interviews with your team’s players, local newspaper coverage and a weekly radio show hosted by Tony Bruno. This year’s version also adds a “Hit Stick” that will let players deliver bone-crushing tackles on opponents. The PS2 and Xbox products are also playable online.
Rated “E” (Everyone), Madden NFL 2005 will retail for $49.95 on next-gen consoles and for $29.95 on the GBA. PC and PSone versions are due out in September.
