Big Ben Wallace cover man for NBA 2K5

Piston defensive expert will be displayed on packaging.

ESPN Videogames informed VGLN.com that "Big" Ben Wallace, the All-Star center and two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year from the world champion Detroit Pistons, will serve as the official spokesperson and cover athlete for the upcoming basketball videogame, ESPN NBA 2K5.

Greg Thomas, president of Visual Concepts (makers of ESPN Videogames) stated, "As we continue to deliver the highest rated NBA video game, Wallace's leadership and unbridled tenacity perfectly represents our brand."

An enthusiastic Wallace added, "I have been in their television commercials for the past two years, so I was honored when they asked me to appear on the cover of ESPN NBA 2K5."

In development for Xbox and PlayStation 2, ESPN NBA 2K5 will be exclusively distributed by Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. this October.
