Newest trailer will hit movie theatres nation wide.
Microsoft Game Studios and Bungie Studios jointly announced today that a Halo 2 trailer will be hitting the big screen nationwide.
The promotional campaign, which starts today and runs through August, will see the Halo 2 theatrical trailer shown in more than 1500 Loews Cineplex Entertainment theaters.
Microsoft was quick to point out that this isn't just any videogame trailer. It was specially created by The Ant Farm, the same Hollywood company that created trailers for The Lord of the Rings, Spider-Man 2, Shrek, Harry Potter, and Kill Bill.
Halo 2 will launch on November 9 for an estimated price of $49.99. A special 2-DVD limited edition version (with sleek silver box) is also available for pre-order now for an estimated price of $54.99.
