The World Cyber Games (http://www.worldcybergames.com) has selected HWH PR/New Media as its public relations agency for the 2004 Grand Final. From October 6-10, 2004 San Francisco will become the world's cyber capital when the World Cyber Games Grand Final is held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
The Grand Final will bring 700 champion gamers from 64 countries to compete for world titles and prize money. Including prizes from national finals, global winnings for the World Cyber Games is estimated to reach (US) $2.5 million this year.
“The international elite are already competing to reach the Grand Final where a $400,000 prize pool and various events are waiting for young gamers.” said Hank Jeong, CEO of ICM, the organizer of the World Cyber Games. ”Gaming fans will be flocking to San Francisco to witness the drama of the finals and to enjoy the world’s largest computer and video game festival."
Launched in 2000, the World Cyber Games has grown to be the world’s most popular festival for digital entertainment. More than one million gaming lovers are expected to participate in this year's online and offline events.
