by Kit

Friday, September 3 2004

Nickelodeon properties will be made into wireless games.

Global wireless entertainment publisher JAMDAT Mobile Inc., announced today an agreement with Nickelodeon, the number-one-rated basic cable network for more than eight consecutive years (per Nielsen Media Research), to develop and distribute games for mobile phones based on top preschool properties, "Dora the Explorer" and "Blue's Clues."

"JAMDAT is pleased to be making games based on the top two shows for preschoolers," said Mitch Lasky, Chief Executive Officer of JAMDAT Mobile Inc. "Through our relationship with Nickelodeon Online, we will bring these franchises to life through for mobile phones in ways that are faithful to the spirit of the shows."

"JAMDAT's experience in mobile entertainment and its relationships with wireless carriers is essential to bringing Dora and Blue to the new wireless screen," said Paul Jelinek, Vice President, New Media Business Development, Nickelodeon.

"This is a great opportunity for Nick Jr. to achieve its digital interactive mission to empower our preschool audience to interact and play along with their favorite characters in innovative ways," said Kyra Reppen, General Manager, NickJr.com. "JAMDAT will help us extend the success of our online games outside the home, giving parents ways to engage their little kids and play together on the go."

"Dora the Explorer" and "Blue's Clues" are the number-one and two rated television shows for preschoolers, respectively (per Nielsen Media Research), and have won or been nominated for more than 60 major awards, including the Peabody, Daytime Emmy and Television Critics Association Award.
