Greg Hastings Tounament Paintball goes well for pro gamers.
Major League Gaming (MLG), the official professional video game league for console game players, released photos from SoCal Slapdown, the league’s eighth competition of the 2004 season. The photos highlight a wide variety of game play and activities spread out across several rooms of competition. The Nokia N-Gage and GameStop-sponsored event was held on September 25-26 at Hollywood Sports Park in Bellflower, Calif. The weekend also marked the official launch party of Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball, the new title from Activision Value Publishing, Inc. Celebrating the game, Halo world champion Matthew “Zyos” Leto, the undefeated Ogres, JMB and others competed against professional paintball players Rocky Cagnoni, Alex Fraige, Greg Hastings, Chris LaSoya and Keely Watson in a winner-take-all multiplayer video game clash. The battle of “Gamers versus Ballers” resulted in victory for the video game professionals.
