Pre-orders will get extra battle scenario for WWII RTS game.
Atari Interactive informed VGLN.com today that the company has joined forces with TimeGate Studios to launch Axis & Allies.
Inspired by the classic board game, Axis & Allies redefines the WWII PC game genre. Axis & Allies captures the epic spirit of WWII battles in an RTS experience, portraying the battles of WWII with the same sense of urgency and scale that WWII itself encompassed.
Consumers who pre-order Axis & Allies will receive an exclusive downloadable battle scenario, available for a limited time only. This offer features one of three scenarios not available in either of the in-game linear campaigns. The scenarios include :
• The Capture of Dunkirk • The Invasion of Russia • The Battle for Manchuria
When consumers reserve their copy of Axis & Allies, they will receive instructions and a key code to download their free battle scenario. The scenarios will be available online at launch, and require the full version of Axis & Allies to play.
