New mission recreates circumstances from last year's war in Iraq.
Kuma\War, an online game service featuring accurate recreations of real world events in the war on terror, has launched its newest mission, Samarra Bank Heist Part 2.
The latest mission, Samarra Bank Heist Part 2, takes place in the end of November 2003, one of the deadliest months for coalition forces since the start of the war in Iraq. Members of the United States’ 4th Infantry Division are guarding coalition cash convoys swapping out old Iraqi dinars for new ones printed without Saddam Hussein’s image.
In a previous mission, Samarra Bank Heist Part 1, players fought off guerrilla forces as they attempted to ambush the cash convoys at the Samarra bank. In Samarra Bank Heist Part 2, players will re-create the second exchange at the Al Mulya bank, where the battle begins with guerrilla forces surrounding U.S. troops with unrelenting firepower.
In the coming weeks, Kuma\War will release missions based on the unfolding events in Fallujah. Kuma\War also plans to release two new missions to coincide with the anniversary of the Iran Hostage Crisis, which will present the U.S. military’s actual plan for freeing the hostages. Kuma\War is available for download and free trial at http://www.kumawar.com and can be purchased for a $9.99 per month subscription fee.
Kuma Reality Games is offering a free subscription to everyone with a “.mil” email address until June 30th.
