Monster Hunter invades consoles shortly before E3.
Vivendi Universal Games informed VGLN.com today that the companies’ Van Helsing videogame, based on the feature film of the same name from writer and director Stephen Sommers, is scheduled for release in North America on May 7 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Game Boy Advance.
As the alpha of monster hunters, gamers will be able to take on evil baddies such as Dracula, the Wolf Man, Frankenstein and even Igor, as they are whisked back to 19th century Transylvania.
All versions have been rated “T” (Teen). Console versions will retail for $49.99, while the GBA product will sell for $29.99.
