A presidential election simulator, now that's somewhat unique.
Hotpot Software today announced the release of President Forever, the latest version of a presidential election game/simulator for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP, available immediately for $12 (USD). President Forever lets players master political intrigue and election struggle while taking your candidate all the way to the White House.
President Forever also includes a Candidate Editor that allows you to edit existing candidate profiles (12 are included for the 2004 scenario) - you can even insert your own picture and run for President yourself. You can also travel back in time and try one of the great campaigns of American history - including the 1960 Nixon-Kennedy, 1980 Reagan-Carter, and 1992 Bush-Clinton-Perot scenarios. (Instructions are also included on how users can make their own scenarios.)
The game lets you choose from a wide range of electoral tools to move you towards victory on Election Day. Set up a detailed platform and work out an electoral strategy to outmaneuver your opponents, criss-cross the country barnstorming, unleash foot soldiers to stop your opponents, get campaign crusaders to rally voters to your cause, give fiery speeches, run attack ads to steal voters leaning towards your opponents, and more. Smooth game-play is ensured by a user-friendly interface and a context-sensitive help system.
