New expansion will explore Vana'diel farther than before.
Square-Enix U.S.A., Inc. has revealed plans to issue an expansion to its massively multiplayer online role-playing game Final Fantasy XI.
Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia is specifically for the PC version of the game and will be released in both Japan and North America this fall. The add-on will feature new areas of Vana'diel to explore, along with fresh “secrets and fabled legends.”
