Bethesda Softworks bringing Elder Scrolls RPG series to Nokia platform.
Bethesda Softworks’ informed VGLN.com today that an Elder Scrolls role-playing game is on its way to Nokia’s N-Gage.
Nokia is working with Vir2L Studios and TKO Software Inc. to develop The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey for the handheld device. The title is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2004 and will allow players to explore a “vast fantasy 3D world” as they take on over 50 different kinds of enemies. “Classic” Elder Scrolls character classes— Assassin, Barbarian, Battlemage, Knight, Nightblade, Rogue, Spellsword, Sorcerer, and Thief—will be available to choose from.
Vir2L Studios and Bethesda are both subsidiaries of ZeniMax Media.
