Sweaty palms not a problem with Nyko's new controller.
Nyko Technologies informed VGLN.com today that the company has shipped the Wireless Air Flo controller for Sony Playstation 2, a cable-free unit that utilizes Nyko's patented Air Flo technology to provide gamers with a consistent flow of fresh air through the controller handgrips.
Nyko's Wireless Air Flo for Sony Playstation 2 controller features RF wireless technology for play at up to 50 feet. The new controller includes multi-channel design for simultaneous use of up to 8 controllers and precision error correction to eliminate interference from household electronics. Gamers can enjoy up to 110 hours of wireless game play when not using the Air Flo feature or more than 50 hours of game play while using the maximum level of Air Flo. The automatic power save mode ensures that there is no battery drain when the controller is not in use.
Nyko's wireless product also offers digital and analog modes, dual analog joysticks and a new D-pad with detachable joystick. The detachable joystick and rubberized feet allow for the controller to be used on the table top in an Arcade style configuration. The joystick neatly stores away in the battery compartment to prevent loss.
The new controller carries Nyko's patented Air Flo design with new, variable speed controls. It features redesigned rubber handgrips with a new twist that enables the fan to be placed in the front of the unit for a greater flow of air onto the hands. A unique retro rotary analog fan control and matching rotary channel selector differentiates the new controller.
Nyko's Wireless Air Flo controller for Sony Playstation 2 (MSRP $49.99) is available at all major retailers.
