MTV Music Generator 3: This Is The Remix ships

Codemasters, and MTV: Music Television announced today that MTV Music Generator 3: This Is The Remix video game has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. The latest installment in the series offers the ability to create, remix and display personalized music creations and is now available for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox videogame system from Microsoft.

“We’re excited to bring the third installment in our Music Generator series to consumers this summer,” said Tony Calandra, Director, Interactive Products, MTV. “The MTV Music Generator 3 is a great tool for aspiring deejays and music fans and is yet another example of how MTV brings its viewers closer to their favorite music and artists.”

MTV Music Generator 3: This is the Remix allows players to create and sample original music tracks as well as remix 10 of the hottest songs from today’s biggest hip-hop and electronica artists. Featuring Snoop Dogg’s “From Da Chuuuch To Da Palace,” OutKast’s “The Way You Move” and “Get Busy” from Sean Paul, players can mix with the best and choose from a wide variety of samples, offering unlimited potential for creating innovative tracks from multiple music genres. Enhancing the experience, players also have infinite capabilities to bring their favorite artists together by incorporating song samples from their own music collections into their creations.
