Vivendi Universal Games has reduced its workforce by 350 people, calling the elimination of the positions “another important step in its turnaround plan aimed to better position the company for growth.”
The sweeping cuts were made across all aspects of the company’s North American business with the lone exception being VU’s Blizzard Entertainment studio, which survived unscathed.
A Vivendi Universal Games spokesperson declined to go into any specifics regarding the job cuts.
