Newest in Guilty Gear series has its own site.
Sammy Studios today launched the web site dedicated to Guilty Gear Isuka at http://guiltygeargame.com. Designed by Teknision, the site is a comprehensive Guilty Gear portal; a showcase of trademarks that have made the series the premier 2D fighter and revolutionary new features that will make this sequel a leap for the franchise. In addition to new characters and all-new battle arenas, Guilty Gear Isuka introduces simultaneous 4-player fighting and a side-scrolling action game mode to the Guilty Gear series. Guilty Gear Isuka, developed by Arc System Works exclusively for the Playstation 2 computer entertainment system, is slated for release holiday 2004 and is rated T for Teen.
“The Guilty Gear series is revered by fighting game fans around the world,” said Tim Pivnicny, senior VP of sales and marketing for Sammy Studios, Inc. “The new web site shows how ‘Guilty Gear Isuka’ introduces groundbreaking upgrades while retaining features, such as high production value and a tremendously balanced and precise fight system, that have made it one of the most critically acclaimed fighting franchises in video games. It’s a window to the past for Guilty Gear veterans, and a look at the future of 2D fighting for fans old and new.”
Guilty Gear Isuka introduces new upgrades such as 4-player simultaneous fighting, allowing for 2-on-2, 3-on-1 and 2-player co-op battles. The title also adds new characters to a full roster of returning fighters, all-new fight arenas and multiple new modes of play, including an exciting side-scrolling action game called Boost Mode.
Along with the dedicated game site, Sammy Studios has launched a forum for the Guilty Gear community at http://forums.sammystudios.com. The Guilty Gear Isuka site is now live at http://www.guiltygeargame.com.
