Transformers launches for PS2

Shooter will feature popular robots who happen to be great as sedans.

Atari informed VGLN.com today that the company has released Transformers, its PlayStation 2 exclusive videogame, at worldwide retail outlets.

The single player, third-person shooter will put players in control of the Autobots as they try to take out the Decepticons and save Earth. Three Autobots will be able to be controlled, Optimus Prime, Hot Shot and Red Alert.

Rated “T” (Teen), the title, licensed by Hasbro, will retail for $49.99.
