Non-Xbox owners get a date for Pandora Tommorow.
Ubisoft informed VGLN.com of the release dates for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube versions of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. An Xbox version is currently in retail.
In North America, the PS2 version is due out on June 18, while the GameCube title is scheduled for July 1. In Europe the PS2 product is due out on June 10, while a July 1 is also being set for the Cube version.
The two additional console versions will receive a new Jungle mission, post-mission stats and scoring, new pathways to take to accomplish missions and “booby trap game play,” which revolves around players trying to “disable explosive devices using a similar mechanic to the innovative lockpick game play.”
PS2 exclusive elements include the ability to listen into in-mission situation reports using a headset and the inclusion of “moving dynamic lighting technology” (the ARGUS mercenaries' torchlight in the game’s multiplayer component), described as a first for Sony’s console.
GameCube owners will also be able to connect to a Game Boy Advance to unlock eight Pandora Tomorrow GBA missions. The GBA can also be used to remotely control in-game devices.
