Squad level strategy game arrives on Xbox console.
THQ Inc. has shipped the Xbox version of Full Spectrum Warrior to North American retailers.
The Pandemic Studios-developed tactical-action military game is based on a light-infantry training simulator the developer made for the U.S. Army. The University of Southern California's Institute for Creative Technologies also worked with Pandemic in order to “replicate today's challenges of urban combat missions.”
The squad-based title will place soldiers “in a tense, hostile, and claustrophobic environment where they must complete a variety of military objectives.” A two-player cooperative mode that makes use of Xbox Live is also included.
Rated “M” (Mature), the title carries an MSRP of $49.99. A PC version is due out this fall.
